DIY : Just Going for a Dip {Dye}

Goodbye Nautical, Hello Florals!

I bought this chair at Goodwill back in '08(ish) and refinished it with the nautical rope outdoor fabric. Well, let me tell you, she was showing her age. I've been obsessed with florals for almost 2 months now and have been wanting to dive into the dip dye trend for just as long. (Did anyone catch that pun?) As much as I love neon, I love subtlety more and had the paint on hand (Martha Stewart's Chinchilla) leftover from projects past, so I decided to get my toes wet (*ahem pun) and paint the bottom six inches this lovely taupey gray shade. I'm happy with how it turned out. She sure looks pretty sitting at my desk.
